ACA “Silver Plans” Will be Cheaper in 2019

dreamstime_s_102029139According to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Affordable Care Act “silver plans” will decrease in price in 2019—the first time since the program began.
CMS Administrator Seema Verma attributed this price drop to the Trump Administration’s market stabilization rule and seven state innovation waivers which allow states to provide access to health care in innovative ways that provide comprehensive health care that is affordable to consumers and doesn’t increase the federal deficit. Read more.
